IS BBI A NEW DAWN FOR POLITICIANS OR A NEW TRASH LIKE 2017
PROMISES?
A look at the current state of government, am left wondering
if they are the same guys that I queued on the line to vote for that early
morning of 8th 8 2017! They look more different, divided and angry
at each other! I gave them the responsibility because I trusted them, but seems
my judgement was wrong or misguided by the promises.
To be honest, where are the jobs, football fields, where is
our National football team?
How far is the fight against corruption, why do we
have blame games on matters corruption, our independent institutes mandated to
fight corruption, what are they doing at the moment, covering up your messes or
what?
All these arguments are the main agendas of the BBI! BBI is
basically a new political wave of ‘’Unite and Rule’’ than what we have at the
moment of Divide and Rule. BBI is addressing more to Kenyans than even the
promises made to us by politicians in all the years. The question is, if they
haven’t been able to implement the little promises they made to us in all the
years they have been in offices, do you even think they will be able to
implement BBI at any level?
Aren’t they going to make it a political party? If we look
at BBI from a clean view, you will realize that it’s more of a citizen
inclusive than our current way of leader to leader monopoly system whereby the
region leader has the ultimate voice over the common citizen and can represent
views of the church even when he or she is a pagan! ‘’Saying as a Church”
The only problem we are having at the moment is that we do
not have a solid opposition that can question, peruse and analyze the BBI to us
Kenyans in the understandable version. That leaves it to politicians who are
going to make it more of politics than its main aim, which will be used as a
campaign tool come 2022. I can openly say, I lost my cool with politics in 2017
when the election left me broke and jobless, if BBI is bringing back politics
then it’s cool if we just trash it right away and give Kenyans peace away from
politics.
Mr. Politician, just give me my peace to deal with the
stress I have at the moment. From, corrupt leaders in offices to jobless me in
the house just let me be. If you can’t have the same voice as of the BBI then,
walk away and use the money on creating jobs.
Those governors that are organizing the conferences, they are
not using their pocket money my friend they are using my tax that I sweat for
day in day out. Mr. President, have you
asked them governors about the roads and infrastructure within their counties,
can they account for any shilling used. Roads are the main open gates that
invites investors who in turn create jobs and improve development.
How do you expect an investor to come and investor in such areas?
BBI was to be a tool that was going to widen the leadership
table, delegate some powers, invite a shared ideology in leadership and unite
Kenyans away from modowanyuba slogan. This has hence been voided and a new
option of Tangatanga vs Kieleweke brought in, becoming more chaotic and
traumatic to me as a Kenyan since it only means the BBI has failed
embarrassingly than expected.
Who is sensitizing Kenyans about it because politicians have all embarked on a 2022 succession politics leaving Kenyans in Dilemma.
Our politicians have made the BBI initiative look
like a war between ‘’RailaOhuru vs Uhuruto’’ inconveniencing the main motive of
the BBI. In fact, it has come to the extent of threats and warnings against
those who don’t support it leaving us with questions.
If anything, the leaders should be offering their views and
opinions of what the BBI should be, should have been, will be or will not be,
but they have made it a game of impression, supporting it to impress either the
president, Railaodinga or Dp. William Ruto why? They have made the BBI look
like a political malice brought about to break apart the countries leadership,
and divide strong political parties like Jubilee, Nasa etc dissolve them, then
have new agendas and lies like what we had in 2017 campaigns.
The Uhuruto government promised us a lot, so far only a few
has been accomplished which is being in office, roads, the rest that was to be
done in 100 days remains to be our desires. I believed in them and for once I
grew this desire to listen to their speeches with passion and open ears,
nowadays, I would rather sell my tv at 100 bob than listen to them or any
politician. Whatever virus that attacked and ate their agenda book, I don’t
know. Was it the Kenyan political ideology of “be irrelevant to be relevant” or
what I don’t know too!
The reason, for all this stories, is the BBI anything
different from the 2017 promises? Is it not going to be trashed like the promises?
The football fields in wote…..
If its organizing conferences, then let them be basically
about what’s BBI, what will it bring on the table for a common Kenyan. Explain
to Kenyans the benefits and negativities of the said BBI. Don’t tell us stories
of how you came together and we already know, we really need to hear facts and
real agendas of the BBI, because without that, BBI will fail after spending a
lot on the conferences just like the football pitches promised to Kenyans.
King Kaka said, we need to ask questions! I am asking you
Mr. Politician! Is BBI for your own good or mine too? Are you sure it will be
implemented having failed on the promises made to us in 2017.
In noting the recent few conference meetings held in western
Kenya, Mombasa and in the Gusii land especially on 25th Jan 2020, it
was mostly about Baba ooh! MgangaWooo! But nothing to take my pen out and
write. No one came out and told us anything worth writing and why we should all
embrace the BBI! Mr. President sir, kindly lead your people, give them the
voice of reason, ask them questions if they really understand the BBI issues
amanimehemehetuwanapiga to impress you.
Because, at the end of the day, you are our beloved
president always aiming for the greater good of this country and we expect you
to lead not to be led or misled
THE VOICE
OF REASON IS NOT THE END OF A SEASON BUT THE BEGINNING OF
A MISSION WITH VISION. KENYA NI YETU SOTE, HOLD MY HAND I AM A KENYAN.
